Where is the Counselling Done?
You can be seen at our counselling rooms or we can arrange a venue closer to your home. Appointments are generally from 10am to 7pm weekdays.
When & How is the Counselling Done?
To make an appointment, simply contact us by telephone. You will be asked to give your name and address, and telephone number, and some brief details.
We will then check our list of counsellors for the most appropriate person to help you. Your details will be passed on to the counsellor and should contact you within 28 working days to arrange your first appointment, but this may be longer depending upon level of demand and waiting lists.
Who Does the Counselling?
All our counsellors are fully professionally trained or are on a course leading to an appropriate professional status.
Some have personal experiences of living with a physical disability or chronic illness, or of being a carer.
We have male and female counsellors, and they are all members of professional bodies such as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and are therefore bound to Codes of Ethics and Practice and subject to a Complaints Procedure.
